ASUS, a leading provider of high-quality graphics
solutions, introduced the EAX1300PRO SILENT/TD/256M graphics card. Unlike other
models, the chip and the heat-sink are placed on the reverse side of the card
which facilitates improved airflow and ventilation. The card is not only
CrossFire ready, but also features the ASUS patented GPU-on-the-back ReverseCool
Technology, which delivers high-efficiency cooling at absolute quiet 0db.
Powered by the powerful ATi RADEON X1300PRO, and incorporated with various ASUS
exclusive features, the EAX1300PRO SILENT/TD/256M provides a superb visual
experience.
With the reverse cool
technology, the heat sink design is easily visible even after the card is
attached in the computer faced down. This is a real gift for the gamers who own
chassis with transparent side panels and are eager to display their graphics
cards.
“We are pleased to deliver
one of the world's best PCI Express graphics solutions,” said Kent Chien,
Director of ASUS Graphics Business. “With the introduction of the EAX1300 Series
powered by the RADEON VPU and ASUS cooling technologies, ATI and ASUS are
enabling customers to experience the full benefits of PCI Express.”
According to Jeffery
Huang, Business Manager, ASUS India, “In India, people require effective and
interesting graphics card designs to enhance their gaming experience. The
EAX1300PRO SILENT has the unique GPU on the back technology which is very
effective and truly unique.”
The Extreme AX1300PRO SILENT/TD/256M adopts a unique cooling solution that
positions the GPU (graphics processing unit) and heat sink on the backside of
the graphics card, placing them directly in the airflow path of the CPU fan for
fast heat dissipation.
Besides providing larger
heat exchange area, the extended heat sink takes on a clamshell design, which
enables users to open up the heat sink, like a clamshell phone, for enhanced
ventilation. By leveraging the CPU fan, the all-new ASUS graphics card is
fan-less and operates at 0dB for quiet computing.
In addition to
industry-leading specifications, the graphics card also offers exclusive
innovations found only on ASUS solutions.
Built into the driver of
ASUS graphics cards, Splendid detects activation and usage of video applications
and automatically optimizes image quality for the best visual results. Splendid
further provides five modes for best visual results in different video
applications (Standard, Game, Theater, Scenery and Night)
It is a user-friendly
interface similar to those of the most popular messenger services to streamline
the process of inviting multiple players to a gameference (game conference).
Gamers can simply register, log on and start the fun. GameFace Messenger is as
easy as the free messengers currently in the market.
Just like people who share
their lives and thoughts on blogs, expert gamers often want to show off their
perfectly executed strategies and five-hit combinations. GameLiveShow is created
to allow gamers to stream broadcast their gaming experiences live over the
Internet. Other players can now go online to check out how the experts really do
it.
Practice makes perfect,
and that holds true in gaming as well. For popular LAN (local area network)
party team games such as Counter Strike and Unreal Tournaments, strategy is the
key to victory. GameReplay records gaming action into MPEG4 video files so that
teams can review all the moves and tactics to improve for the next tournament.
The recorded files can also be used as screen savers or posted on blogs.
