Epson, a world
leader in digital imaging and printing solutions, today announced the
appointment of Eiji Kato as the new Country Head to spearhead its India
operations. Eiji Kato is an Epson veteran with over two decades of experience
working in and leading multiple businesses across the Seiko-Epson portfolio in
Asia and Europe including Electronic Devices
(ED), Original equipments Manufacturing (OEM) and Visual Instruments (VI).
Eiji Kato replaces Etsuo Fujita who moves back to Japan after 6 years in India.
During Etsuo Fujita’s tenure in India the Epson brand has grown in strength and
has emerged as the market leader in India in several segments including Dot
Matrix Printers, Photo Printers, Bill Printers and Projectors.
Commenting on his appointment as the Country Head of Epson India
